A 58-year-old worker died this Wednesday in a warehouse on Herreros Street, in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid), after the roof of an industrial warehouse gave way. The man was working on the roof when a skylight gave way and he fell to the ground from a height of approximately 12 meters.

The man had multiple trauma and the Summa 112 medical team was unable to do anything other than certify his death. The Summa 112 psychologists have treated his colleagues.

As reported by Emergencies 112 of the Community of Madrid, the work accident took place around 12:25 p.m. in the aforementioned warehouse. Firefighters from the Community of Madrid, civil protection and local police attended the scene of the incident. After removing the body, Civil Guard agents have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the fatal accident.

This is a tragic week for the Community of Madrid, since yesterday two workers died when the flooring collapsed in a building that was being rehabilitated in the capital.
