The trams pass by the stops in front of Encants and La Farinera. Both have already stopped working and will be dismantled to give all the prominence to the new stop launched this Thursday at the height of the Design Hub building.

This point is set to become a new public transport interchange with the arrival of various bus lines in the near future right next to the stop of lines T4, T5 and T6. In the same area, a new metro exit has also recently opened that faces the center of the square, immersed in the process of transformation.

The opening of the new stop also means one more step in the extension of the Trambesòs from Glòries to Verdaguer. Although the trams still continue to circulate here, powered by the traditional catenary, as in the rest of the route, the underground catenary is already installed next to the rails that will give power to the trams in the new section beyond the Plaza de the Glòries.

The infrastructure works are about to finish and in summer convoys will begin to circulate on a test basis along the new section. The date of entry into service remains unknown and will depend on the evolution of the test runs. The calendar with which the concessionaire company works still indicates September, although the Autoritat del Transport Metropolitana (ATM) speaks of a generic fourth quarter that would go beyond September.
