The nerves of the first day at a new job may seem overwhelming, but they are a natural part of the adjustment process. Actress Blanca Suárez is no stranger to these feelings, even after years of experience in the film industry.

Recently, the award-winning performer shared on LaScript how she deals with these initial nerves with each new project. “She scares me,” Blanca admitted when talking about her first moments on the set and the anxiety she feels when joining a new team.

She herself has described the shame that invades her in those first moments: “The fact of entering the set makes me very ashamed, big time.” This discomfort, although intense at first, tends to disappear as she gets used to the environment and the people around her. Blanca has highlighted that, after the first contact, she regains confidence: “Then she forgets me and I go with my pints. “I have no sense of the ridiculous.”

One of her biggest problems is overcoming the fear of being judged by her new classmates. “There are a few minutes when I arrive on set for the first time, when I still don’t know the team, when I unconsciously feel like they are going to judge me a lot,” she explained. Despite this, she strives to overcome this emotional barrier and move forward.

The actress has also revealed her method to combat these nerves: not stop working and focus on her performance. You have to shoot and then you forget about it and that’s it,” she said. In the end, as she has acknowledged, her commitment to her role ends up taking precedence over her insecurities.
