The South Beach Seafood Festival is not a game like Go Fish, it is a serious celebration of fresh seafood in Miami. The 12th annual festival will feature over 60 restaurants from South Florida, showcasing the culinary talents and local chefs of the region. People travel to South Beach and South Florida throughout the year to enjoy the fresh fish and seafood.

The festival will kick off with dinners starting on Wednesday, followed by events at the Loews hotel on Thursday, Chef Showdowns on Friday, and a new Seafood Slam on Saturday. Chef Robert Irvine will be hosting the Chef Showdown, bringing some extra excitement to the event. He advises chefs to be unique but not too unique, cook well, and put their own twist on their dishes.

Chef Fiorella Cornejo from The Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne will be defending her Surf and Turf title at the festival. She hinted at using lobster in her dish for the competition. Chef Brad Phillips from Even Keel Fish Shack in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is a newcomer to the Surf and Turf Throwdown and will be making his world debut dish for the competition.

The South Beach Seafood Festival will take place from Oct. 23-26, 2024. Tickets are available for purchase online. Don’t miss out on this ultimate celebration of fresh seafood in South Florida!
