Tyler, the Creator recently announced that he will no longer be able to perform at Lollapalooza and Outside Lands as previously scheduled. In a post on X, he expressed his disappointment at having to break his commitment and apologized to his fans for any inconvenience caused.

As a result of Tyler’s cancellation, Megan Thee Stallion will be stepping in to headline at Lollapalooza, while Sabrina Carpenter will be taking his place at Outside Lands. The festivals have both confirmed the lineup changes, with Outside Lands citing “personal reasons” for Tyler’s absence.

Lollapalooza, which will be held in Chicago from August 1 to 4, boasts a star-studded lineup including SZA, Blink-182, the Killers, Future, Hozier, and more. Meanwhile, Outside Lands in San Francisco from August 9 to 11 will feature Carpenter, the Killers, and Sturgill Simpson as headliners.

Tyler, the Creator was a headline act at Coachella earlier this year and is also set to headline the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October. Despite his recent cancellations, fans can still catch him at upcoming events.

When contacted for further information, Tyler’s representative declined to provide any additional comments regarding the cancellations. Fans who were looking forward to seeing him perform will have to wait for another opportunity to catch his electrifying performances on stage.
