President Trump hit a home run with his major speech Tuesday night before a Joint Session of Congress, according to a poll.
Sixty-nine percent of those who viewed the speech said the policies Trump outlined will move America in the right direction, according to an instant CNN/ORC poll that surveyed viewers.
Seventy-two percent of viewers said Trump’s economic proposals would move the country in the right direction. Seventy percent said Trump’s terrorism proposals would be good for the direction of the country.
Likewise, 64 percent were optimistic about his tax policies, 62 percent were for his immigration policies and 61 percent were for his health-care policies.
Nearly two thirds of viewers liked the ideology laid in the speech, while only 26 percent found it too conservative.
Fifty-seven percent of viewers had a “very positive reaction” to Trump’s address.
The poll, which surveyed 509 American viewers, was conducted Tuesday night and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percent.
