One of the biggest titles of 2017 is finally here and those looking to warrant purchasing a Nintendo Switch (or feel better about purchasing a Wii U all those years ago) will find it with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
The long-awaited title is coming to the Nintendo Switch and Wii U March 3 but potential buyers can find a copy at their local retailers at midnight to insure they can spend the weekend in Hyrule.
While those looking for a Nintendo Switch console, and didn’t get a pre-order, will have issues getting one, Breath of the Wild will be available for the Wii U, giving gamers more options.
GameStop, Best Buy and other retailers will be open at midnight for the Nintendo Switch so gamers can pick up a copy of Breath of the Wild while they are there.
There’s plenty of other things you can get while you go and get your copy of Zelda. Strategy guides, the new amiibo and much more will be available alongside the game and the Nintendo Switch.
If you want to try your luck and get a copy of Breath of the Wild, check out Gamestop’s store locator for where you can find your local Gamestop.
If you’re going to a Best Buy, check out which of the Best Buys near you are opening at midnight for the release of Breath of the Wild by checking their online store locator.
If you’re getting Breath of the Wild from either Target or Walmart, you’ll need to call your local store and find out if they’re doing a midnight release. Sometimes the Target/Walmart strategy can pay off since they’re not the sites most gamers go to for midnight releases and the lines can be shorter. However, every location is different so your local store might not be doing a Breath of the Wild midnight release. Use the Target store locator and Walmart store locator to find out which place near you will let you get your copy of Breath of the Wild on at 12:01 a.m.
