In cooperation with the american company Six Flags, which operates several theme parks in the UNITED states, builds Saudi Arabia a big amusement park 40 kilometers outside of the capital Riyadh.
the Park is named Qiddiya and covering 32 hectares of land. Qiddiya will have a total of 28 rides, and the saudis expect to beat several records with them. It writes the media Gulf News.

in Addition to the Falcon’s Flight will be a second ride, the Sirocco Tower, becoming the world’s tallest tower with the least. The tallest tower so far is in New Jersey. It’s called Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom, and is 126 metres high. For comparison, The Golden Tower in Tivoli 63 metres.
It is not entirely clear what the ultimate speed or height will be at the Falcon’s Flight. But the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa, located in Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, has a top speed of 240 kilometres an hour.

Qiddiya is not just an amusement park, but an entire city, which will have a focus on tourism and major sporting events. The project is part of Saudi Arabia’s vision for 2030, which among other things, to promote tourism. The owner of the projects is the Saudi Arabia’s public investment fund.
the Park is expected to be finished in 2023.
