After the ceremony, which took about an hour, drove the bridal couple in the company of their guests at Egeskov Castle, where the wedding feast was held in the great hall at the 465-year-old castle.

the 59-year-old Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille has been married two times previously. Most recently with Caroline Søeborg Olesen, who he divorced from in the year 2016.

He took over the Egeskov Castle in 1994 after his father, Claus Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille and is 11. generation at the castle. He bears the titles count, landowner and chamberlain.

Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg is 48 years old. She is the daughter of princess Benedikte, the niece of Queen Margrethe of denmark and granddaughter of King Frederik. 9.
