How has it been to step into the great DR of the scene?

– I have already moved me around a bit on TV2, but has now been so privileged to have a leading role in the DR. You can feel that there is a greater awareness, but I have been so happy to make it. Medinstruktøren Louise Friedberg, which I know from ’Norskov’, was also one of the reasons why I really wanted it here. It has been awesome.

– How to prepare for a role as Peter?

– You can’t prepare to lose a child. But when you yourself have children, so has my preparation been thinking some of the thoughts to the end, as you really don’t want to. On the way you can feel what it means, and what it does to one’s body. It has been a journey into a dark room, as I’m not in very often, but I’m thankfully good to go out of it again.

– It is creepy, it is In the doing – how has the community been?

– The worst thing is that when you make the kind of grotesque drama, so it is here, you have the most fun. Maybe it’s also because the breaks need to get rid some of the dark, you’re walking around in. Actors are different, but I’ve never been one who goes into a trance-room and comes out six months later, when the series is recorded. I can separate who is who.

– But how to keep it down to earth?

– When you are sitting so close and looking each other in the eyes … To crack. It is so heavy things, playing, and inside there is always a little devil, who says that it is ’just a game’. If it is allowed to tip a little too much forward, it can become fun.

49 years.Plays the role of Peter in the DR’s ’Peace for land’.Also known for his role in TV2’s ’Norskov’.Have played a number of great roles in the theatre.Graduated from the acting School at Odense Theatre in 1999.

– You’ve got a bit of a breakthrough with the two main stars in line – you are in higher degree recognized?

– I will be amply recognized in Odense, where I live, and it is the strangest thing. It may still be too ’Nordkraft’ or ’Lærkevej’. But ’Norskov’ did, that I feel reasonably seen in many places. I have not yet seen it with the ’Peace for land’.

– What are you doing for time?

– Right now, I make a show called ’The mysterious case of the dog in the night’. On the day make I try on another spectacle, ’Peggy Pickit sees the face of God’. So I have a few tough titles to contend with.

’Peace for land’ can be seen on DR. dk.

– I think it was right. There had not been such a thing before. It described a part of Denmark, and it was also in the north, where I come from. There were many things with the series.
