Residents near an active volcano in the Philippines has Wednesday been given 24 hours to leave their homes, which is located in a højrisikozone.
Authorities warn that residents who ignore the invitation to allow themselves to evacuate, should not expect to get help if they become trapped in a dangerous eruption.
More than 235 000 people have already fled from the Taal volcano in the province of Batangas button 70 kilometers south of the capital Manila. It has happened since 12. January, when the volcano began to spy ash, steam and lava.

The regional police commissioner Vicente Danao is annoyed that more residents will return, and that some refuse to allow themselves to evacuate.
– For the stubborn residents who sneaks back to their home, I would say, that it will no longer be their responsibility, if you are In the danger zone, when the eruption happens, says Vicente Danao to the local radio station DZMM.
– By Thursday morning we will force everyone to leave the site – even if we have to pull them out.

Taal is the second most active volcano in the Philippines. It has erupted more than 30 times in the course of the last 500 years.
