The brazilian tennis player Joao Souza is never going to play turneringstennis at a high level again.

Saturday, he’s been banned for life for repeated instances of match-fixing. It writes The Integritetsenhed (TIU) on its website.

In the period 2015-2019, he has been behind the match-fixing at the ATP Challenger tournaments and ITF Futures tournaments held in Brazil, Mexico, the UNITED states and the Czech republic.

the decision also states that Souza has been cooperative, and that he has attempted to destroy evidence in the case. In addition he has ‘urged the other players to not give their best’.
