According to local reports and police, an elderly lady was hit by a stray Bullet Tuesday as she was eating in a downtown San Francisco restaurant.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, a 22-year old man and an 85-year old woman were both found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
According to Dylan MacNiven, the restaurant’s owner, the victim was 85 years old and had been dining at Woodhouse Fish Co.. A bullet struck the window in front of her.
MacNiven stated to the outlet that it wasn’t clear if the bullet actually grazed her. “We have been in touch with her, and she is in good spirits as yesterday.”

Both victims were taken to the nearest hospital by authorities while officers interviewed witnesses.

Police discovered that several people were involved in a physical altercation just across the street from the restaurant. According to the SFPD, one person from the group pulled out a gun and “fired into” the fighting crowd.

Investigators discovered that the victim, 85 years old, was not a participant in the altercation but was simply a witness.
As of Saturday morning, the SFPD hadn’t arrested any suspects.
