The Oscars gala to be held this Sunday is just around the corner, and the meals to celebrate the most anticipated event in cinema, where this year’s winners gather, will be very numerous. At the party that honors Ibero-American talent, after the awards ceremony, Spanish gastronomy will take center stage. The restaurant in charge of putting the cuisine of this country in the spotlight will be the Barcelona-based Telefèric, which will host the Ibero-American After Party, which will be attended by around 700 people and which will also include J. A. Bayona, nominated by La Sociedad de la Nieve, in the category of Best International Film.

The dishes that will be served at dinner are intended to pay tribute to traditional Spanish gastronomy. As starters, Iberian ham, crab croquettes, txistorra pintxos or gildas will be served. In addition to lobster paella, grilled turbot or truffled Wellington fillet, as main courses.

The brand was born in Barcelona in 1992, and since 2015 it has several locations in the United States, such as the one in Brentwood (Los Angeles), led by executive chef Oscar Cabezas. It is in this exclusive neighborhood where the dinner will be held, attended by well-known faces such as Bayona, and actors and actresses such as Maxi Iglesias or Paz Padilla.
