The Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) has announced the immediate addition to its team of the lawyer Isabel Yglesias Julià as permanent delegate of its office in Brussels. Yglesias, who has experience in both the private and public sectors, will also be the head of European affairs for the Spanish business organization, which is in turn a member of the European business association BusinessEurope.

Born in 1981 in Arenys de Mar (Barcelona), Yglesias has a degree in Law, a master’s degree in European Union Law, a postgraduate degree in CSR and an executive master’s degree in management of international associations. She is a specialist in competition and state aid matters, she has worked in this area in the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition as a specialist and in the private sector as a lawyer at the Uría Menéndez office in Madrid, Barcelona and Warsaw. Her last responsibility has been the General Management of EFCI (European Cleaning and Facility Services Industry), a European business organization for cleaning services, a position she has held from 2018 to the end of June 2022.
