Six people were killed in the shooting incident at Highland Park’s July Fourth Parade in Illinois.

Five of the six victims were declared dead on the spot, while the sixth was taken to a hospital, Lake County coroner Jennifer Banek stated.

Here’s what we know about the victims of this shooting:

Sundheim, a lifelong member of North Shore Congregation Israel was killed in Monday’s attack. Luke, her nephew, told NBC News.

The synagogue in Glencoe was about 3 miles from Highland Park and praised the “tireless devotion” of the former preschool teacher who also worked at synagogue.

“Jacki’s kindness, warmth, and work touched us all, from her early teaching days at Gates of Learning Preschool, to guiding many among us through life’s joys and sorrows as our Events Coordinator — all of which with tireless dedication,” said the synagogue in a statement.

Alejo Toledo, Toledo’s son, confirmed to NBC News his father was a victim in the shooting.

One of his grandchildren said that Toledo, 78 had originally refused to go to the parade. However, family members brought him along as he was unable to walk and needed to be accompanied by someone full-time due to his disabilities.

“We were all shocked. His granddaughter Xochil Toledo said that they thought it was part the parade. “We realized that our grandfather had been hit. We saw blood everywhere and everything was splattered on us.
