Rigoberta Bandini and Amaia are making waves in the music scene after both announced their new song Así bailaba. It is the first joint single of the two singers.
There were many who expected this collaboration. And it is that, in the previous days, the two artists hinted that a joint work was coming in an exchange of tweets, which revolutionized the fans. No day or time was known, but finally this past night they gave the surprise.
The followers did not imagine what kind of music they were preparing, because none wanted to give details about this new musical production, thus favoring the surprise effect. The result is a festive theme that in a certain way, as the title anticipates, pays homage to the iconic The days of the week of Los Payasos de la Tele.
An ode to friendship and to themselves that has caused a stir among the public. It all came about a year ago, during a meeting between the two artists, as Paula Ribó, Bandini’s alter ego, acknowledged in an Instagram post. Amaia went to her house in order to compose songs for her second album and, despite not being planned, they ended up coming up with many ideas and working together.
The news comes just one day after Rigoberta announced on David Broncano’s program, La Resistencia, that starting in the fall she will take “a long break.” He does not mean that he will completely retire from music because, in addition to resting after a long tour, he will surely take the opportunity to prepare new music.
