“Lagos is home to many travelers who are looking for luck or starting a new life.”
Chibundu Onuzo, a Nigerian novelist, lives in London. She dreams of returning to Lagos, her unpredictable and fast-paced hometown. Chinaza Onuzo is her brother and has been living in Lagos for 15 years. He harnessed the city’s energy to become a successful filmmaker producer. Chibundu views him as a true Lagosian. He is a full-time hustler who turned his passion for filmmaking into an entrepreneurial endeavor.
This episode Chibundu talks about Chinaza’s transformation. What can she learn from her brother’s experience? Is there any advice he could give her on how to succeed in Nigeria? Would she need to make some changes in her life to be able to adjust to the hustle of Lagos?
