The Misonny Art Festival is preparing its coming-out for next September 3 and 4, the date on which a total of 64 plastic artists will exhibit their work at Oscar Manresa’s idyllic Catalina estate, in Gavá Mar.
Many of them are internationally renowned, such as Guillermo Lorca —who is currently exhibiting at the Moco Museum—, Picasso’s great-nephew Jacob Vilató, Jorge Ermilo Espinosa or Martha Saenz. In addition, for the first time at a festival in Spain, the work of the Mexican Leonora Carrington, who died in 2011 and a great reference for the surrealists, will be featured.
With this unprecedented exhibition in Barcelona and after the great success of the last edition of the festival held in Mas Sorrer (Girona) last July, which was attended by more than 7,000 people, the Misonny Art Festival will close the summer in style. And it will do so in this new scenario, consolidating synergies between the different branches of art, with the participation of artists, galleries and musicians from the curatorship to the production of the event, such as Mrs. Toolip Art Gallery, Samuel de Sagas, Monart NFT or Carolina Ribera, among others, always in order to give a resounding message about the importance of staying united to reactivate the cultural sector.
During the day, visitors can attend art talks, workshops for all ages, enjoy live painting or participate in guided tours and NFT talks, as well as attend an exhibition of digital artists on screens.
No less important will be the gastronomic proposal of Oscar Manresa, to which other varied offers are added thanks to the different foodtrucks.
Finally, mention that, in its fight against the climate emergency, the festival will offset the festival’s carbon footprint through environmentally friendly actions.
