This Monday, the most romantic space on television, First Dates, broadcast its ‘special movie night’. Like every day, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners who showed up at Cuatro’s space with the hope of experiencing first-hand an authentic movie date. However, not everything that happens within the four walls of the restaurant ends with an ending worthy of a romantic movie.

Something that happened to Malú and Fabio. The 28-year-old Asturian single woman arrived at the restaurant claiming to be “a Barbie with Bratz lips, but natural.” ”Contrary to what all the envious people think because they are very envious of me,” she declared. Her greatest passion was horses. ”I talk to my mare, people don’t understand it,” she said.

Plus, the bachelorette had a very special gift for her date. ”It’s a ring with my initial engraved on it and I want to see her reaction because I don’t want her to be scared. I want him to be a person who is not afraid of the future. “It’s a test ring,” she said. Moments later, the single woman moved inside the restaurant, where she had to wait for Fabio, a 34-year-old single from Seville, a fan of Rocky Balboa and the gym, and who was looking for a simple and natural girl. ”I have to buy elastic shirts because my arm doesn’t fit,” she said.

However, the bachelor got a big surprise when he saw Malú’s ring. ”This girl wants to take me to the altar now,” the Sevillian commented while he swallowed. ”Commitment doesn’t scare me,” he said. Shortly after, the expected meeting between the singles took place. Fabio was amazed by Malú’s beauty, but he was somewhat worried about her height. ”She’s two heads taller than me,” he assured. ”He needs a shirt size larger,” she confessed.

The evening began with both of them talking about their current professions. And although they realized that they had several points in common, such as their love for animals, their differences were beginning to take their toll. ”Men who go to the gym and are very muscular do not seem attractive to me,” the Asturian woman asserted. For his part, the bachelor confessed that another of his great passions was Holy Week. ”I don’t rule out the fair, but I’m not a big fair-goer,” he said. ”I think Easter is very good, but the fair is the fair. How can you tell me that?” said Malú.

Commitment was not going to be a common point either. While the bachelor was more reluctant to have a future wedding, Malú explained that she was a woman of traditions and that her goal was to get married in white with the love of her life. However, that better half she was trying to find was closer than it seemed. At one point during dinner, the Asturian woman began chatting with a person through her cell phone.

”I came with the intention of meeting a person who caught my attention, but since nothing happened I realized that I am in love. “He didn’t realize that I was talking to my lover on his cell phone,” she explained. In the final stretch of the dinner, the singles moved to the program booth, where they confirmed that their date had no future. Therefore, in the final decision, both were rejected.
