The head of the Court of Instruction 9 of Valencia has authorized experts from 11 companies, of which ten are insurance companies, to access the building of the two residential blocks that burned down on February 22 in the Campanar neighborhood in order to that they can prepare their reports.

The instructor has sent to the Provincial Brigade of the Scientific Police of the National Police Corps a detailed list of those companies, which have presented in court an insurance policy for some element of the property or have in some other way proven a legitimate interest in the cause.

The Scientific Police officials will be the ones who must accompany and supervise the coordinated and organized access of the experts to the damaged building within a few days.

Meanwhile, the magistrate is still waiting for the report that is being prepared by specialized agents of the Scientific Police and which must determine the specific origin of the fire, among other issues, according to official sources from the TSJCV.

Thus, despite the information that has appeared in various media in recent days regarding the causes of the fire, there are still no official conclusions in this regard.

The investigating judge agreed to the provisional dismissal of the preliminary proceedings last Friday, after receiving a police report in which the “criminal or delinquent etiology” of the incident, in which ten people died, was ruled out.
