With his startup Myfarmilyapp, Eduard Blanch distributed fruit and vegetables from local farmers directly to the final consumer. “He connected the producers with clients in Barcelona”, explains the entrepreneur. To carry out the deliveries, he had a fleet of vans. Some vehicles that, when the activity of Myfarmilyapp began to go down, each time they remained more and more hours without working.

“The situation began to change when a contact at the Ridemovi company asked me to take advantage of our vans to provide roadside assistance for the company’s electric bicycles,” says Blanch. “At the beginning, we combined the two activities, the delivery of fruit and vegetables and roadside assistance, until in September 2021 we decided to dedicate ourselves fully to the maintenance and repair of fleets of micromobility vehicles. We became the only supplier of Ridemovi”, adds the entrepreneur. This is how Ducky Logistics was born, which replaced Myfarmilyapp.

Ridemovi has been followed by clients such as Cabify, RACC or Acciona and, currently, the company has extended its services to private owners of scooters, electric bicycles and electric motorcycles. This last segment still represents 1% of the startup’s turnover, which last year was 360,000 euros.

Based in the Zona Franca in Barcelona, ??Ducky Logistics has around fifteen people on staff for an operation that is concentrated in Barcelona and Malaga. It also has a warehouse in the latter city. The company’s next destination is Madrid, where the entrepreneur plans to start filming in the coming weeks. For this phase of growth and expansion, the company has the help of Netmentora, a non-profit network in which business leaders support new entrepreneurs.
