Joselu Mato, current Espanyol striker and top scorer in La Liga, visited La Resistencia on Tuesday to talk about his professional career. Although there are those who still remember him for his two seasons as a Real Madrid footballer.
Throughout his talk with David Broncano, the comedian did what he always did, launching his Classic Questions about sex and money. Regarding the latter, the presenter wanted to remember Gerard Piqué’s excess when she claimed to have more money than all of Espanyol. Faced with this comment, Joselu responded with an elegant dart to the former Azulgrana.
Taking advantage of the presence of an Espanyol player on the programme, David Broncano wanted to recall the controversial statements that Gerard Piqué made in La Resistencia during one of his last visits. “When he came, do you remember what he said?” The presenter asked the footballer. To which he replied in the affirmative.
“That he had more money,” Broncano continued, trying to hold back his laughter at the excess of the Barça player, “than the entire Espanyol. And, then, the Espanyol forward continued with his response, like a dart, towards Piqué: “Having seen what is seen with the expenses he has.” A few words that drew applause and cheers from the audience present in the stalls of the Teatro Príncipe Gran Vía, in Madrid, and laughter from David Broncano, who hallucinated with the zasca.
In fact, for a few seconds the comedian was speechless, until he came out of there with a: “Elegant response.” And to dress up this great moment, Broncano released: “It would be cool if Bizarrap came in now to put music to this response.”
And it is that, let’s remember that the DJ and Shakira, Piqué’s ex-girlfriend, have triumphed with the famous song about the former FC Barcelona defender where he comes off quite badly.
