Vice President Yolanda Díaz will announce her final decision – in all probability her determination to go to the elections leading a candidacy – on Sunday, April 2, at a public event in Madrid with the leading role of civil society but which will be open to all parties in space , who will be invited, which will put an end to the listening process undertaken a year ago.
The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Antonio Magariños sports center in the capital, the birthplace of the Estudiantes basketball club and also a place inscribed in the Spanish socialist tradition –Pedro Sánchez himself has held massive PSOE events there–, located at the Ramiro de Maeztu institute.
The so-called listening process as such, will conclude next weekend with an act in the Canary Islands, in an act in which Yolanda Díaz will share space with Alberto Rodríguez, former secretary of organization of Podemos and who today leads his own political organization, the Project dragon.
All the space organizations have expressed their adherence to the Sumar project in the event that Díaz takes the step, although Podemos has already announced that it wants a prior commitment from the vice president on the conditions of a possible candidacy of generals, as well as an active involvement in the purple municipal and regional candidacies for next May.
