Of the nearly three thousand planned actions, there are transversal ones throughout the city, such as the renovation of fences, signage, the repair of sidewalks or paving, and specific ones, grouped in neighborhoods, children’s play areas, irrigation networks, improvements in dog recreation areas and renovation of sports facilities in parks and gardens.

Improvements will also be made to the sewage system, the groundwater network, drinking and ornamental fountains, lighting, stairs and elevators, road structures, traffic lights, slope stabilization and other actions related to the improvement of accessibility in public spaces.

Until 2028, 12% of the parks and gardens will be renovated, a total of 200 facilities such as children’s play areas, dog playgrounds and sports circuits, 620,000 square meters of pavement, 35% of horizontal signage, 56 % of elevators, 24% of escalators, 3,500 street lights and 4,500 traffic lights.

A plan with a territorial perspective

The districts will directly manage 180 million euros and the actions will be carried out in an organized and grouped manner in each territory to minimize the impact of the works.
