A year ago the Lletraescena festival took its first steps exploring the transition between narrative and theater in the streets of Teià. A year later, it continues to advance to become the reference space for reflection and dialogue between both disciplines.

Is theater literature? is the hypothesis that supports the festival during its second edition by the hand of 18 different proposals, from conversations to theater interpreted by professionals and amateurs, continuing with editorial novelties, dramatized itineraries that will run through the streets of Teià and activities for all audiences.

Among them, Llegir teatre stands out, a meeting in five acts that will be attended by book club leaders from the libraries of Catalonia, and that will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Can Llaurador Library.

The playwright Jordi Casanovas, winner of the 2022 National Culture Award, opened the festival yesterday at Sala Beckett, where a gap has already been opened, a path, where he put his perception of the relationship between theater and literature on the table. , as well as a review of his most outstanding works.

The festival will lower the curtain next Sunday with a concert by the Teià Municipal Music Band at 1:30 p.m. in the Can Godó park.
