I share in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia this photograph taken in Roses, in the Alt Empordà region, from La Punta beach.
In the image we can appreciate a beautiful and warm spring sunset with the completely flat Mediterranean Sea, with reflections in orange tones and a fisherman with the rod in his hands.
That same afternoon there was a downpour that was very welcome, since, as we all know, we have a serious drought problem.
Subsequently, the sun shone with some clouds to, at the last minute, give us the sunset that can be seen in the photograph.
The best time to fish on the beach is precisely early or late, as the fish are more active and it is easier for them to bite.
Fishermen prefer to fish from the jetty, although sometimes we can also see them on the shore of the beach. Today it seems that the chosen place has been inside the water, possibly it is no longer as cold as in winter.
