Unemployment has fallen in the Valencian Community by 3,089 people in March (-0.90% compared to February) and the total number of unemployed has stood at 340,298. As reported this Tuesday by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy in a statement, unemployment has fallen by 20,193 people compared to March of a year ago (-5.60%) in the Valencian Community.
By gender, the number of unemployed women in the month of March amounts to 207,130, while the number of men totals 133,168. In addition, Social Security has gained 19,224 media affiliates in the Valencian Community in March, 0.94% more than in February, and in relation to a year ago there are 56,066 more affiliates, 2.79%.
In the Community, the occupation leaves the total number of average affiliates at 2,068,538, of which 1,698,447 are from the general regime, 363,176 are self-employed and 6,915 are sea workers, according to data provided by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations.
The number of media workers in ERTE was 2,640 in March, 1,502 were on full employment suspension and 726 partial.
