The National Police have arrested the fugitive who yesterday killed the employee of a shooting club in Canovelles. The young man has been arrested in Murcia after he intercepted two women who were in a car at gunpoint and pointed them at them so that they would drive him from Barcelona to Murcia where he was finally arrested. When they have arrived in the city, the women have called the police who have started a search device until they have located and arrested him. This has been confirmed to La Vanguardia, a police spokesman.

The fugitive began his escape yesterday at 7:30 p.m. after killing the employee of the Granollers shooting club, a center he had joined a short time ago, according to several members of the club. The young man, a 20-year-old ex-soldier, fired five shots from behind at Jordi, the manager. The crime occurred with a club weapon.

From there, he fled to Murcia. The Mossos deployed a large device to track him in an operation that spread through the Collserola mountains, where it was believed that he had made the first stop on the escape. The Shooting Club woke up this morning with the sad news of the murder of its manager and will remain closed until next Wednesday.
