A minor under the age of 17 has been seriously injured after falling this Tuesday from the eighth floor in her home in Reus (Tarragona). As confirmed by police sources, the young woman has managed to survive thanks to the fact that a tree would have cushioned her fall, thus avoiding direct contact with the asphalt.

The events occurred shortly after 10:30 a.m., when the minor fell from the terrace of her house, located on Passeig Prim in Reus, as Diari de Tarragona has reported.

The Mossos d’Esquadra have already opened an investigation to clarify the facts and determine the reasons why he ended up falling. At the moment, no hypothesis is ruled out.

The young woman, who was transferred in serious condition to the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona due to different injuries, is conscious.
