The Judicial Police of the Civil Guard have arrested on Monday a teacher from an institute in the Murcian town of Totana, accused of sexually assaulting a dozen students in the center itself.
The investigation, carried out by the Civil Guard, began last week as a result of a talk by the guardian agents at the educational center on gender violence, harassment and personal relationships. Thanks to this, some of the victims felt confident and related the facts to a member of the Local Police.
According to sources close to the case, several students from the Prado Mayor High School in Totana were victims of sexual assault by a teacher who teaches physical education.
The alleged attacker denies the facts and assures that if he touched the students, it was in the context of teaching Physical Education classes and not with a sexual connotation.
The detainee is making a statement at the Benemérita in Totana and will foreseeably go to court this Tuesday.
