Warner Bros. Games has announced Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, a new video game set in the wizarding world of J.K. Rowling. It is a competitive multiplayer title focused on this sports discipline on flying brooms. The development is carried out by the Californian studio Unbroken Studios, which is also working on the DC title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

There is still little information about this new Harry Potter game, although Warner Bros. Games has already published a first teaser trailer of a few seconds. Visually it is very similar to the recent Hogwarts Legacy, despite the fact that the development studio for both titles is different.

With the release of the latest Harry Potter title, many fans were missing being able to play Quidditch and it was rumored that it would arrive as part of additional downloadable content. With this announcement, Warner has confirmed that it will not be a DLC, but that it will be a completely independent game.

For now, the publisher has confirmed that Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released on PC and consoles, although it has not yet confirmed exactly on which platforms or the publication date. The game is still in development, but those interested in trying it out can sign up now for the first closed beta that will be released on PC soon.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is published under the Portkey Games imprint, with which Warner Bros. intends to center all experiences based on the wizarding world. This announcement comes a few months after the launch of Hogwarts Legacy, which has been a complete success and has already sold more than 12 million copies worldwide.
