Seville has a very special meaning for the Dutch Royal Family. In 1999, the kings Guillermo and Máxima met at the April Fair and only three years later they said “yes, I want” in a romantic wedding. On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of their first meeting in the booth of the Real Club de Andalucía, the King and Queen wanted to return to the Sevillian party with their three daughters, princesses Amalia, Alexia and Ariane.

His presence at the April Fair four years ago caused a sensation because both Queen Máxima and the princesses did not hesitate to dress in the typical flamenco dress, with a shawl and flowers on their heads. Some looks signed by the Fabiola 1987 brand, by Fabiola García-Liñán.

The same designer has been chosen by Princess Amalia to return to the fairgrounds, this time without the company of her parents and sisters. A return that García-Liñán herself has shared on Instagram, where you can see the look of the heiress to the throne of the Netherlands.

The princess has worn a flamenco dress in passion red, with a skirt full of ruffles. An outfit that she completes with a black shawl with flowers embroidered in red, pink and off-white. In addition, she sports a red flower on her head, with her blonde hair gathered in a low bun, and red teardrop-shaped earrings.

“These have been endearing moments for me. Princess Amalia, heir to the throne of the Netherlands, trusted us again to come to the fair dressed as a flamenco. This time in red, with a wonderful embroidered shawl! It has been an honor , a taste and an enormous pleasure”, affirms the designer, who also highlights how “charming” the princess is.

Amalia from Holland is a great lover of Spain. Last year she traveled to Madrid several times with a group of friends to enjoy gastronomy and culture. A visit that she repeated last January with her mother, with whom she enjoyed shopping days and the most typical dishes.
