Experts recommend that with a few changes in attitude, many motorcycle accidents in the city can be avoided. And it is that this week, Madrid has three motorcycle accidents with serious injuries, and even one death.
The last one occurred during the early hours of this Thursday, when two motorcycles and a scooter collided on Alfonso XII street, in the capital of Madrid. This accident has caused 4 injuries: 2 potentially serious and another two with minor injuries. The police are in charge of making the report. And all four have been transferred to different hospitals.
This week began with the death of a 31-year-old man, who plunged into the municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón with his motorcycle from an 8-meter bridge, falling onto another road. He died as soon as the accident occurred due to the strong impact received on the head, according to the emergency service of the Community of Madrid.
And on Wednesday, the city woke up with the fact that the day before, late in the afternoon, an 8-year-old boy had been run over by a motorcycle in the Moncloa neighborhood. His prognosis is serious and he was transferred to the hospital with the support of the local police because there was excessive traffic in the city that day.
With the arrival of good weather, motorcyclists have chosen to take their two-wheeled vehicles out onto the street more, “but prudence and being very attentive behind the wheel” is essential to avoid suffering an accident of these characteristics, say experts.
