Hybrid car sales have been consolidated in recent years. These models allow you to enjoy the ECO label granted by the DGT and, consequently, benefit from its advantages. It is important to know, therefore, which is the model that may interest us the most, according to its degree of efficiency.
Green NCAP has carried out a study focused on this section and has expanded its analysis methodology, incorporating a new interactive tool that measures the real impact of vehicles on the environment throughout their life cycle.
The RACC has released the results of Green NCAP for the year 2022, where an exhaustive evaluation of 34 models was carried out, among which there are different types of propulsion. Cars equipped with hybrid mechanics have had an important role and there are several models that are part of the list and that have obtained good ratings.
One of the conclusions derived from the study is the efficiency demonstrated, above all, by medium-sized or small cars. Large and heavy models substantially increase the negative impact on climate and energy demand.
