A good excursion and even better views of the landscape. That is what the climb to the Turó de Puigsagordi viewpoint offers us, as we can see in this series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.
At 978 meters high, this is one of those privileged places in Catalonia when it comes to enjoying panoramic views.
From this viewpoint you can see from Centelles, at its feet, to the Pyrenees in the background looking north. In addition, we can see the entire Plana de Vic and a good part of the Osona region, on the south side.
Specifically, we see the entrance gorge to Osona to the south, with Centelles and the Hostalets de Balenyà a little further to the north; Montseny, with its top of Turó del Hombre, Les Agudes and Matagalls in the background; the Sierra de Cabrera and the Bellmunt mountain range (with their respective sanctuaries).
In between, we can distinguish the towns of Tona, Balenyà , Vic (the capital of the Osona region), Manlleu, Torelló and other towns in the Plana.
And, further north, behind the Bellmunt mountain range, the peaks of the Pyrenees appear, with the Puigmal in the center as a reference point for this landscape.
