In January of last year, the explosive collaboration between Shakira and Bizarrap burst onto the music scene with the BZRP Music Sessions

La Fuerte is the new song released by the Colombian and is part of the long-awaited album Las Mujeres No Ya Lloran. This single has aroused deep interest due to its lyrical content and the lyrics have not only been looked at with a magnifying glass but are interpreted as an open letter to her ex-partner and father of her children, Gerard Piqué.

The lyrics of La Fuerte reveal a deep reflection on regret and inner strength. Shakira sings melancholy about the lost opportunity to fully enjoy a past love: “If I had known it was going to be the last time, I would have enjoyed you more, but I didn’t take advantage of you.”

The chorus’ resonant lines, “another night I go without seeing you, another night I act strong,” express the internal struggle of someone trying to overcome a love that still lingers in their memory.

The song also addresses the theme of wounded pride and the difficulty of letting go of the past. In verses like “If I don’t look for you it’s because I also have my pride, don’t think that I don’t miss you, because I miss you,” Shakira shows the duality of emotions she experiences when trying to stay firm while fighting the desire to reconnect with his old love.

Bizarrap is not the only artist with whom the Colombian collaborates on the album. It also features Cardi B, in Puntería, Raw Alejandro, in Cohete y Te felicito, Grupo Frontera, in Entre parentheses, Ozuna in Monotonía, Karol G in TQG, Manuel Turizo in Empty Cup and Fuerza Régiza in El Jefe, among others.
