Feijóo considers that it is necessary to speak in a “clear and forceful” way to underline that “sports and racism are incompatible”, but also to make it clear that “Spain is not racist, in any case”, and he said it because there are “few” people “, who are describing Valencia as racist and in his opinion, “when there are people who try to give a distorted image of a city, “we have to be clear and forceful.”
The president of the PP also wanted to make it clear that for him, “sport is education, and education is the opposite of racism.” The president of the PP made these statements during a debate on “Education, Values ​​and leadership”, in which Feijóo wanted to give his support to MartÃnez Almeida, as he already did with Isabel DÃaz Ayuso in the Madrid town of Getafe. There, the three agreed on the values ​​that athletes, politicians and citizens should have, beginning with the culture of effort, both in the study, that is to say in education, as well as in politics and sport.
