In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can contemplate this sequence of images of the Moon and Venus on the figure of the eagle that crowns the Casa Antoni Aguilar in Vic (Osona).
In one of the photographs, the moment is captured when, with perspective, it seems as if Venus were about to be swallowed by the eagle, since the planet is located right in the mouth of this sculpture.
It must also be taken into account that the Moon and Venus are the two brightest celestial bodies in the sky after the Sun, so on clear nights they shine in the sky.
Casa Antoni Aguilar, the work of Josep Cumeras Rovira, is a building between medianeras built in 1916, located in calle Bisbe Torras i Bages, number 18.
It consists of a ground floor and two floors, with a gallery on the main floor that acts as a balcony on the upper floor, where there are wrought iron railings, added in modern times.
As can be seen in the photographs, the crowning of the house stands out especially, with an artificial stone balustrade on which the figure of this great eagle that plays with the Moon and Venus emerges.
In this other photograph we see the Casa Antoni Aguilar but this time with the full moon and a seagull flying over the figure of the eagle. This image is not from last night, but from last February 18, 2022.
Finally, we can also see this modernist work in the capital of Osona by day, with a hot air balloon flying over the area.
