A 40-year-old man has drowned on the beach of El Saler in Valencia, as reported by the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU).
The incident took place yesterday, around 4:30 p.m., when the CICU was alerted that they were trying to pull a person out of the water on the beach.
A SAMU unit and an SVB came to the scene, whose SVB health team performed basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the rescued man. Once there, the SAMU medical team continued with advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other stabilization techniques, but there was no response. The man had passed away.
