Based on the poem Tres semillas by Gabriel Ventura (Barcelona, ​​19889) in which he talks about the joy of spring, 16 artists commissioned by Sofía Palacios have been inspired to create their works, exhibited until May 27 at the Espai Isern Dalmau of the Fundació Lluís Coromina at Calle Mallorca, 305. What is special about this exhibition is its spirit of solidarity, it is the first edition of Spring Art Barcelona whose purpose is to raise funds for a good cause.

The works will be auctioned on May 30 by Christie’s in favor of the IRES Foundation. An association that has been helping families for more than 50 years, who face different situations of high vulnerability, through more than 40 socio-educational care programs, promotion of social inclusion, intervention in conflicts and violence, and community work in the judicial field. . With these programs, each year they help more than 15,000 individuals and families.

And there is no better place to host this auction than the Majestic Hotel.

The event will take place during a gala dinner in which spring, its joy and colors will be very present, not only in the works, but also in the decoration, in the dress code, as well as in the menu designed by the star chef Michelin star and hotel gastronomic advisor, Nandu Jubany. After dinner, the works will be auctioned by Beatriz Ordovás, director of Christie’s Iberia.
