A private ambulance was burned in a fire registered yesterday on the AP-6 motorway, at kilometer 52 in the exit direction, according to the Madrid Security and Emergency Agency.

No injuries were reported. It was transporting 3 patients and 2 companions. The driver of a bus that was passing by the scene of the accident stopped to help rescue the passengers together with the ambulance technician.

Firefighters from the Community of Madrid extinguished the fire.

It is worth noting the quick action of the ambulance technician and the bus driver. Between the two of them, they sheltered and cared for all those affected on the bus until the arrival of two SUMMA112 ambulances that took care of them.
