The wonderful Vall d’en Bas shines after the rains, as can be seen in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia with these views of the landscape and the Salt de la Coromina de Falgars.
The Coromina waterfall is one of the six waterfalls that exist in the Falgars risk.
In this case, this waterfall is fed by water from the Faja stream, which, when it reaches these cliffs, falls in a very showy way, especially when it has rained.
The Salt de la Coromina is located within the terminus of Falgars d’en Bas, an extensive plateau at 954 meters of altitude with numerous ravines.
In general, all the streams that come from the Sierra de Cabrera tend to go down with little water flow, except on rainy days and, especially, in the Salt de la Coromina, where the waterfall can draw a large tail of horse.
From this waterfall, we can also enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Vall d’en Bas and the rest of the Garrotxa region, as we see in the photographs.
