The famous hairdresser Lluís Llongueras has passed away this Monday at the age of 87. The news has caught his colleagues by surprise as well as those who, at some point in his career, have shared cameras and sets with the creator of the Llongueras brand.

Lluís has accumulated hours and hours of television over the last few years, both in different interviews and even as a regular collaborator on some programs. One of his last jobs was in Abre los ojos… y mira, on Telecinco, in which he had a section dedicated to those people who wanted to lose weight.

Given the seniority of the hairdressing professional, Llongueras’ first television encounters date back to the last century. In 1985 she participated in the program Ahí te quiero ver, presented by the famous actress and presenter Rosa María Sardà on TVE, in an edition dedicated entirely to housewives.

“Of the ladies that exist in your salons, what is more complicated for you, the outside or the inside?” Sardà asked, to which his guest responded with “50-50”. “The outer part is easy for a professional […] like you who wears this asymmetrical and knows how to carry it with courage”, Llongueras snapped between laughs. “But the interior is another story; it’s the problem of when a woman wants to, but she doesn’t want to,” she continued, with a clear double intention in her words.

One of the last media appearances of the Catalan hairdresser occurred in 2018, as part of the Viajando con Chester program presented by Risto Mejide on Cuatro. There, Llongueras made all kinds of confessions to the publicist that did not leave him indifferent, such as those related to his relationship with women: “I sucked boobs for two and a half years and I still like it,” he assured.

In his early days, Lluís had to face a series of difficult situations with what he considers to be “unsatisfied women”. “I would find myself in a robe that opened and there was nothing else underneath, and I would come home exhausted,” he told Risto. In addition, he stated that, if born now, he “possibly would be bisexual.”

One of Llongueras’ most famous clients throughout his career was the painter Salvador Dalí, which is why Mejide became interested in their relationship. However, the hairdresser’s words had such a macho tinge that the presenter was blunt with him. “I hope that everything you tell me we are over,” he told his guest.
