One more night, La Resistencia has landed in Movistar. On this occasion, José María García Pérez has attended the program presented by David Broncano. José María García Pérez is a Spanish sports journalist and is considered one of the most emblematic radio announcers in the history of Spanish radio broadcasting.

Known as “Butanito”, the communicator garnered an army of fans throughout his career, but also detractors. Now, 22 years after leaving the radio, he has presented a three-episode documentary series on Movistar entitled Supergarcía.

José María García Pérez has been very direct and has expressed his opinion of the current politicians in Spain: “We have them bad, deaf and stupid”, the sports journalist has assured visibly serious.

“But I do not make any exclusion, both the power and the opposition. Within that, there are more prepared people but those who are saved, they do not let them touch the ball,” he added. He has also assured that we need “a free and plural press.”

On the other hand, the sports journalist has also taken the opportunity to throw a dart at Ibai Llanos: “I don’t admire Ibai but I respect him,” he assured. “I don’t admire him because he’s not a journalist. So, he can’t step on a piece of news for journalists and go to Messi’s house and not do a worthwhile interview with him.”

For his part, Ibai Llanos was quick to respond to the sports journalist with great humor through his Twitter account: “What I did at Messi’s house was eat tequeños, it was not the time to ask anything,” the streamer wrote.
