A man was arrested in El Espinar (Segovia) on Thursday in relation to the disappearance in Albacete of MarÃa Victoria León, the under-14-year-old who was located that same day in a municipality near Madrid.
National Police sources point out that the investigation into what happened is in the hands of the Family and Women Care Unit (UFAM), which collected some images of the minor together with a man in his 30s at the ChamartÃn station in Madrid. corresponding to the same day of the disappearance, on May 27.
It is believed that both traveled together on a train from the Castilian-La Mancha capital to Madrid. However, it has not been possible to specify if the arrested person is the companion of the minor captured by the cameras in the capital.
The young woman, who was found “in apparent good health,” according to the National Police on her Twitter account, disappeared on May 27, in Albacete, after leaving her home at around 5:30 p.m., allegedly to do a class work with some friends.
The family had organized a poster hanging at 4:00 p.m. this Thursday in Albacete. The SOS Association for the Disappeared already deactivated the notice on social networks after the National Police reported that the minor was found.
