Having a phone call interrupt an interview is unusual on television, but sometimes it does happen. However, the chances that the caller is one of the most important singers in the world, are reduced to one in a million. Until it happens.

And if not, tell David Broncano when this Monday, during the visit of the rapper Tokischa to La Resistencia, he witnessed how Madonna called the Dominican. In fact, the presenter was able to speak with the Queen of Pop, and even invite her to the program. After the broadcast of this great moment, many viewers continue to wonder if the woman who spoke to the comedian was really Madonna or the program has slipped one of her jokes again.

The Dominican rapper Tokischa has become one of the best-known singers of recent times thanks to her collaborations with artists such as Rosalía, J Balvin or Ozuna. However, no one could imagine that she had some kind of link with Madonna, something that she could verify this Monday during her visit to La Resistencia.

It all happened when at one point Tokischa received a phone call and interrupted the conversation with Broncano. “Oh, they call me,” he said. “Who calls you?” The presenter wanted to know. “Madonna,” the rapper said without hesitation. A response that left those present shocked, especially the comedian, who did not believe that this was happening.

During the first moments, both singers greeted each other and the Dominican asked the American to say “hello” while putting the call on loudspeaker. Immediately afterwards, Madonna sang a little bit of her mythical La isla bonita a cappella to show that she was the Queen of Pop herself, which elicited cheers and applause from the audience present in the theater and left Broncano with his mouth open.

So, the presenter asked Tokischa to be able to speak directly with Madonna, and he was able to do so. In fact, both had a surreal conversation.

First, Broncano wanted to know if she knew about La Resistencia and, to everyone’s surprise, she did to the point that she blamed the man from Jaén for never having invited her. Here, the comedian did not hesitate to launch the invitation quickly, making it clear to Madonna that she would pay all her expenses, that she would give him a head massage and even make him pineapple juice “with my own hands”.

“That’s what I want to hear from a man,” Madonna replied to Broncano’s offer, who still couldn’t believe what was happening.

To say goodbye, the American had some nice words for the Dominican: “I love her and I miss her, I am delighted to have met her and work with her. She’s amazing.”

Once Madonna’s call was hung up, the astonished presenter said: “Sorry Tokischa, but we’re all a little surprised because, I think, we’ve been talking to Madonna.”

In fact, what happened in the program not only caused an avalanche of messages on social networks hallucinating with the call, but also highlighting that it could be another joke from La Resistencia? You never know.
