Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía have filed a complaint against the photojournalist Jordi Martín, known for his work as paparazzi for programs such as Sálvame or Socialité. The former soccer player and his current partner argue that they feel harassed and have requested a restraining order so that they cannot be approached within 3,000 meters.

Despite the fact that the journalist alleges that he only works on public roads, as required by law, both parties are expected to meet this Wednesday at 12:00 noon in a court summons. And it is that on May 10, 2023 both Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía approached a Barcelona police station to sue the paparazzi.

In their complaint, the couple assures that on May 4 at noon Jordi Martín accessed a private area, in a parking lot, to take pictures of them. Something that Martín’s defense denies and will try to deny, since he points out that he has always done his job legally.

Jordi Martín was the journalist who took the first photograph in which Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía appear together. In addition, the paparazzi also revealed through other images the footballer’s infidelity with the singer Shakira.

Since then, Jordi Martín has been identified as one of the Colombian singer’s trusted journalists. In fact, it was he who revealed that Piqué’s father had even allegedly kicked her out of the house, something that the ex-soccer player’s family has emphatically denied.

Gerard Piqué and Jordi Martín have been in a very tense relationship for months. Both have starred in several public clashes, such as when the now president of the Kings League publicly told him to stop drugs: “Cocaine is very screwed up,” he snapped while Martín did his job.
