Paula Vázquez is one of the best-known faces in Spain for her extensive career on television. However, the Galician actress and television presenter has mysteriously been away from the media spotlight for a long time. Now, the artist returns to the screen to present a new prime time program on Antena 3: El Puente de las mentiras.

A long time has passed since the Galician’s first foray into television. It was in 1991 when a young Vázquez first appeared on Jeans, News and Rock

In 1993 she was a hostess for the program ‘Un, dos, tres’ and from there she began to rise like foam. Vázquez has presented all kinds of entertainment programs, such as ‘The Euromillion game’, ‘The island of celebrities’, ‘El número 1’, ‘Pekín Express’ or ‘Fama, let’s dance!’, among others.

Beyond her career in television programs, Vázquez has also worked as an actress in some Spanish series. Her greatest hits were ‘Canguros’ and ‘Divinos’.

With kilometer-long legs and her iconic curly blonde hair, Vázquez was undoubtedly a leading figure on Spanish television between the nineties and the 2000s. But media pressure, which led her to suffer from depression and anxiety, forced her to focus on her health and take a TV break.

The actress and presenter spent many years away from television. On her return, in 2017, Vázquez assured during an interview with Lecturas that a black hand did not allow her to return: “there is someone who does not want me to work on television,” she confirmed.

Gone is that professional break, as well as her crazy curls, now she has wavy or straight hair. Vázquez returns with a great bet from Antena 3 and he does so at the best moment in his life, at the age of 48.

In photocalls and important gala events, she always opts for Carolina Herrera and other Spanish label names. Passionate about fashion and the beauty industry, Paula has managed to become a style benchmark for her community on social networks of more than 120,000 users.
