In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can contemplate this beautiful shape of the cumulonimbus, the king of the sky, in the shape of a dog seen from Gavà, in the Baix Llobregat.

You can see the dog’s face in profile very well defined, with its eye, its muzzle and its little legs.

The weather and the nice shapes of the clouds also have their point of humor. In this case, thanks to pareidolia, a phenomenon that consists of misperceiving a recognizable shape and giving it an interpretation in other objects.

It is a common psychological phenomenon that not only occurs in the clouds, but we can also find it in any element that is around us.

Cumulonimbus or cumulonimbus are clouds of great vertical development, internally formed by a column of warm and humid air that rises in the form of a rotating spiral. Its base is usually less than 2 km high while the top can reach 15 to 20 km high.
